If an IEP's certified report is available, we can quickly and accurately estimate our remediation scope based on it. Otherwise, we will continue our comprehensive survey, collect psychrometric engineering data for the property, and produce our estimate accordingly. It's best to address these issues sooner rather than later for multiple reasons, especially if they involve fungal growth/mold spores spreading (refer to the EPA's brief guide to Mold, Moisture, and Your Home). 

If the parties involved determine that indoor testing is necessary, an independent Indoor Environmental Professional (IEP) will perform the indoor air/surface testing. If so, we prefer to meet on-site with the IEP Technician to confirm the affected areas are addressed. The IEP testing takes about an hour on-site, followed by the lab analysis and the IEP's final report, usually within a full working day. 

If an IEP's certified report is available, we can quickly and accurately estimate our remediation scope based on it. Otherwise, we will continue our comprehensive survey, collect psychrometric engineering data for the property, and produce our competitively priced estimate accordingly.

Important Information: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website says any paid firm or individual disturbing painted surfaces in pre‑1978 housing or child‑occupied facilities must be certified. Their website lists General Contractors, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians, Property Managers, Window Installers, and Sole Proprietors.
